• Wheatlands Harvest Book Project ///

The design work on this page are sample double page spreads taken from a book project which was developed for Creative Partnerships.

Its aim was to promote the writing & artwork of year 4 children from Wheatlands Primary School. The project involved taking photo's of all the children involved in the project and including this also in the book.

The general design approach aims to develop a kind of childlike playful creativity. In order to do this various techniques where utilized in modifying & alterting the childrens artwork inorder for it to work well alongside the poems & writings, whilst supporting the impact & vibrancy of all the childrens work.

To contrast the the highly expressive style of the previous poetry booklet samples. We have also produced a number of catalogues where simplicity and legibility are the key concerns.

The sample page to the right was taken from a catalogue we designed for a company selling safety clothing.
